Recognition is one of the two core values of NRHH because it is extremely important to acknowledge those that meaningfully contribute to our community. Below are a few ways that we recognize people at Stony Brook:
- Workday Welcomes – Surprise faculty and professional staff members on campus with cards and breakfast in their workplace.
- Custodial Appreciation Day – Present custodial offices across camps with nutritional snacks and posters signed by residents of their areas
- Bus Driver Appreciation Day – Hold up posters of encouragement outside Wolfie’s Hut in the South P Lot for our campus’ many bus drivers
