OTM Nominations

Of-the-Month (OTM) awards are nominations written by members of the campus community to recognize people for the amazing things they do. They can be written to honor Advisors, Residential Communities, Executive Board Members, Organizations, Resident Assistants (RAs), Students, Residence Life Professional Staff, Faculty, Programs, and more.

Recognizing and celebrating outstanding individuals is what makes Stony Brook so special! Our campus chapter of National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) seeks to emphasize Seawolves who make significant contributions to the residential community through Of the Month (OTM) awards. These awards are an excellent way to honor exceptional student leaders, dedicated staff members, and impactful programs. Crafting a compelling NRHH OTM nomination requires thoughtful consideration and attention to detail that aligns with our core values of recognition, service, scholarship, and leadership.

To submit an OTM, follow this link! Check out this link to assist in writing your OTMs!

On the main menu bar of this website, you can see the OTMs that were won on the Stony Brook University campus level during the most recent month. Awards denoted by [REGIONAL WINNER] have gone past the campus level to win on the NEACURH level, and those by [NATIONAL WINNER] have surpassed that to win on the NACURH level.

Please submit your OTM nominations by the 3rd of each month! If you have questions about the OTM process and NRHH, please feel free to reach out to sb_nrhh@stonybrook.edu.
